The Pre X7 is an analog modeled preamp based on an iconic vintage tube unit designed primarily for bass and which we've modified to make it work with a variety of audio sources.

Both Input and Output 12AX7 tube models are calculated in real time, bringing you all the subtle nonlinearities that will make each instance of this plug-in unique, with no phase issues. A high pass filter followed by a tone control allows you to shape the input signal before the output tubes. Also, we've included a brickwall clipping limiter to help you retain distortion in extreme configurations.
