E, the Sony Oxford OXF-R3 console is highly regarded as one of the best sound consoles ever made. The Sonnox Oxford Dynamics plug-in was designed by the same team of sound-obsessed perfectionists.  There are three compressor models, including linear, normal and classic compression styles. The console was a legend in its own time, and Oxford Dynamics brings a legend to its DAW!

Overview

The Oxford Dynamics plug-in is modeled on the flexible unit used in the OXF-R3 professional mixing console. Offers separate Compress, Limit, Expand, Gate and Sidechain EQ functions, with Full independent control of all parameters. Features such as selectable time, constant curves, and variable soft compression functions let you handle all common uses of compression, from level control and mastering functions to artistic effects.

The Dynamics section comprises four separate applications: Compressor, Limiter, Gate and Expander. Although these applications contain several types of controls with common functions, the operation, timing and laws of these controls have been carefully crafted optimized for maximum flexibility within the specific intended use of this section. The wide ranges of control offered in the applications are accommodated in the GUI. They use specific control laws that encourage experimentation with a very broad set of parameters without the loss of finer detail and sensitivity of the control. Careful consideration has also been given to the dynamic behavior of time constants, as this factor is largely responsible for the sonic character of the dynamics application.

Sony Oxford Dynamics HD-HDX Features:< span style="font-size: 14px;">Enter the magic of a legendary console with the Sonnox Oxford Dynamics HD-HDX plugin!
