Waves Codex is a state-of-the-art polyphonic synthesizer based on an advanced granular wave wave engine and powered by Waves' Virtual Voltage technology. Designed to create sounds ranging from warm acoustic and analog emulations to completely new and never-before-heard intricate and evolving textures, Codex's sound design features offer endless possibilities at your fingertips.

The Codex synthesizer comes with hundreds of presets for original sound, but it also lets you import your own audio files, transform them into wave tables and manipulate them as you wish. Thanks to its advanced formant control technology, Codex maintains consistent resonant characters, faithful to the original signal, and provides direct control over the acoustic resonance of the sound. Codex also innovatively uses a high-resolution FFT-based auto-interpolation technology that results in an extraordinarily smooth transformation as you scan the wave tables.

The original design of Codex oscillators combined with dynamic visual display of the synth waveforms, lets you create very complex sounds with very simple settings - all this before you even start adding the bells and whistles of the built-in modulators, effects and effects. arpeggiator / sequencer!

Combining analog subtractive synthesis components with an intuitive layout, Codex lets you easily customize existing presets or create custom patches from scratch. And thanks to the easy-to-use, single-page GUI
